McKinney Real Estate
McKinney is the county seat of Collin County and a northern suburb of Dallas. As such, it is one of the most popular relocation areas within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. McKinney falls at the intersection of highways 380 and 75, so real estate here will put you in a great spot for commuting to any of the other Metroplex cities, particularly Dallas and Fort Worth.

McKinney was once considered the commercial center for the entire state of Texas. It has since given up that title to Dallas-Fort Worth. But it is still a great place to live. While it is close enough for those who need to work in one of the other cities of the Metroplex, it has all the amenities and plenty of job opportunities too, for those who don't want to commute.

Historical McKinney Real Estate

Because it is one of the oldest towns in Texas, McKinney real estate can offer you more in the way of history than just about any other residential center in the area. Here is where you'll find older buildings and well established museums. There are whole streets and squares of historical buildings remaining for the enjoyment of McKinney residents. But McKinney is also where the old and the new reside harmoniously together, so you can also find examples of brand new homes, and high technology firms setting the pace and building a better tomorrow for the residents of McKinney.
